The Vendor Directory is a searchable list of vendors that are associated with your site.  The directory contains information about your vendors such as name, website, phone number, etc..  You can also add custom fields for any additional information you would like to have about your vendors.  Vendors can fill out a form on your site as a request to be added to the directory.  Once they complete and submit the form, an email will be sent to the site administrator with the information; the administrator can then allow or deny the vendor to be listed in the directory.  This greatly simplifies the process of adding new vendors to the directory.

The vendor directory will display all your vendors according to the categories you have assigned to them.  Users can also search the directory by keyword to find a specific vendor.  Vendor information can be setup to display a map to the vendor’s location if you would like to provide users with directions.  Feedback can also be enabled to allow users to comment on vendors.  You can assign different security roles for users that are allowed to view and leave feedback based on how you want your site to operate.
