The Calendar module allows you to add an interactive calendar on your site.  The calendar can be used to schedule events and enable users to view and/or register for the events.

Events can be easily and quickly be added to the calendar.  Event setup can be completed as easily as putting in a title and date information.  For more advanced use you can setup images for event representation, add recurring events and allow event enrollments.  Recurring events have several options which will allow you to select the level of recurrence that works best for your event.  Enrollments will allow users to sign up for events and even pay registration fees for events using the calendar (note: requires a valid PayPal account).   

The calendar is an easy to use and powerful tool for managing all your events from a simple one day to event to enrolling attendees for a multi day event.
