If you love your exisiting email address, that's ok too.   One very viable option is a little gem called email forwarding and all you need is a domain (if you have a website, you have a domain).  With email forwarding you can have people send an email to one address and it will forward to the address of your choice.  For example, say I have an email address I have been using for support questions that is neoreef.support@gmail.com but I decided I wanted to put support@neoreef.com on the website.  By setting up email forwarding I can have emails that go to support@neoreef.com automatically go to neoreef.support@gmail.com.  This can be a very simple setup depending on the options available in your domain registrar.  If you register your domain with Neoreef we provide email forwarding setup at no cost.

Once you register a domain name you have rights to setting up email addresses that involve using that domain.  You can either setup a simple POP email system or an Exchange type email account.  POP emails are inexpensive, simple to use and look similar to Hotmail and AOL email interfaces.  If you go with the Exchange option, you will pay a higher price but receive several advantages over POP email.  The main advantage to Exchange is that all your information such as emails, contacts and tasks will be centrally located on a server.  In the event that you have a computer meltdown and have to reinstall, all your information will still be sitting there waiting for you once you reinstall Outlook.  Additionally, any PC or device you use to access your Exchange account will be synchronized with the server so all data is the same in every location.  If you don't have Outlook, most companies that provide Exchange email feature Outlook web access.  This is a fantastic feature that allows you to view all your emails, calendars, tasks and contacts from any PC with an internet connection.
